All Aboard the Holiday Magic Train!

Experience the wonder of the season aboard the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad’s Holiday Magic Train! Step back in time for a one-hour scenic steam train adventure filled with festive cheer, twinkling lights, and the joyful sounds of holiday music while drinking on a cup of delicious hot cocoa.

Availability

Our holiday train will be departing at 4:00pm, 5:30pm, and 7:00pm daily(except for our blackout dates) starting November 21, 2025 until January 4, 2026. Blackout dates are 11/27, 12/13, 12/24, 12/25, and 1/1. All trains will be weather permitting and are subject to cancellation due to weather.

What to Bring

Bundle up and come prepared for any kind of mountain weather! Our trains feature both covered coaches and open-air log cars.

Winter Travel Tip

Snowy magic can mean mountain road restrictions—so check current conditions before heading our way and carry tire chains if required.
